Heidi Torso came to the United States from Syria in 1980. Her dream was to own a real estate business. Always a big dreamer with huge goals, Heidi has the tremendous work ethic and commitment to success to achieve her dreams. Ambitious in all her pursuits, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Damascus. Armed with a stellar education and sharp survival instincts, she came to America with her sights on the real estate and investment communities. She and her husband Gary have been investors in Southern California, her dream land, since 1982, and real estate investments have become her passion. Heidi understands from personal experience that consumers and investors are looking for safe, tangible, high-return investments.
Heidi has realized her dreams, and has been a broker associate with Aviara Real Estate since 2009. Also branch manager/broker at Ace Capital Group from 2005-2006, Heidi managed 24 real estate licensees. Heidi’s focus is helping clients achieve financial freedom and control their future.
An expert in teaching people how to invest in real estate to secure their financial future and be in control of their investments, Heidi is well-known for her seminars and speeches throughout California, speaking to various Kiwanis and women’s groups, and holding half-day sessions in her Westlake Village office. She enthusiastically combines first-class sales service with in-depth education, exceptional customer care, outstanding standards and exemplary planning and organization to ensure client success. Her skills were sharpened from 2001-2005 with buyers and sellers of residential properties when she worked as a consultant with Re/Max Gold Coast Realtors in Thousand Oaks, California.
Previously, Heidi owned and managed EZ Mail in Thousand Oaks. She handled approximately 150 business accounts, vendor relations, marketing and personnel from 1989-2001 for this mail box rental, shipping and computer services organization. No stranger to entrepreneurial business ventures, Heidi also owned and managed Norma’s Hallmark in West Hills, California from 1981-1988. At her extremely successful Hallmark store, Heidi managed all aspects of the business, including inventory, purchasing, customer services, marketing and personnel.
Heidi earned her California Real Estate License in September, 2002. Always investing in her own professional development, she continues to take various business-related and sales courses. She is a member of the National Association of Realtors®; the California Association of Realtors®; the Conejo Valley Association of Realtors; the Southern California Association of Realtors and the Westlake Village Chapter of Toastmasters International. In 2002, she received the President’s Award from Re/Max International, highlighting her work ethic and commitment to success.
