Larry & Zan met in 1988. They combined their 5 children, ages 6-17 and raised all of them here in beautiful Westlake Village. Their efforts and nurturing paid off with five fabulous adults. Two are married, one recently engaged, and they have a total of 5 grandchildren, two living in Denver, CO and three in San Francisco.
Zan was a freelance court reporter for ten years with national certifications specializing in realtime captioning for the hearing impaired. Her listening skills and attention to detail are superb. She has obtained her ABR Accredited Buyer’s Representative certification from the California Association of Realtors. As a member of the original cast of the non-profit musical show, Up With People, Zan traveled as their pianist all over the world as a teenager. She fondly refers to it as her “international education.” She and Larry donate a portion of their commissions to the organization.
Larry, a licensed architect for 25 years, brings a very unique perspective to the business in helping buyers & sellers reach their desired goals. As a past Director of Facilities, Design & Construction for the non-profit Kaiser Permanente in Southern California, his architectural as well as management skills were put into play meeting the needs of the members, physicians and staff; something that required great negotiating abilities. Larry has obtained his SRES Seniors Real Estate Specialist Certification from the California Association of Realtors.
Both actively involved in the community, Zan has served as Vice President of the Women’s Council of Realtors, and two committees for the CSMAR (Conejo Simi Moorpark Association of Realtors) Scholarship and MLS. Larry currently serves on the Board of Directors of Westlake Bay Homeowners Association as well as the Assets & Building Management committee of CSMAR.
